Gable-top cartons made from bleached paperboard are a staple in the liquid packaging industry; most commonly used for dairy, juice and liquid food products. Printing processes for gable-top cartons include, lithography, flexography and roto-gravure.

To save production costs, recently a dairy supplier ask us to convert litho printed cartons to flexo printed cartons. But, their customer didn't want to abandon the photographic image. To solve the problem, we implemented an art technique that converts photography to line art which is produced more economically than 4-color litho separations. Both supplier and customer were happy with the results.
